My Homemade Chocolate Cake works perfectly with this frosting! Read on for step by step instructions and tips for frosting your cake!

Fluffy Peanut Butter Frosting Recipe
- Ingredients: Gather and measure your ingredients. If you do not have Unsweetened Almond Milk, then substitute regular milk.
- Cream the Butter: In a medium size bowl, cream the Kerrygold Butter.
- Add Peanut Butter: Add the peanut butter mixing until smooth. It looks so beautiful!
- Add Remaining Ingredients: Slowly add the Confectioners Sugar the Unsweetened Almond Milk and vanilla to make it easier to blend. You can add more milk depending upon the desired thickness of the Fluffy Peanut Butter Frosting. My preference is a thickness where the frosting sticks to a spoon. It is so good, you can eat it right out of the bowl!
- Optional: Lastly, you can add Unsweetened Cocoa Powder for a Peanut Butter Chocolate frosting!
- Store: If not using immediately store in an airtight container in the refrigerator. Bring to room temperature when ready to use.
Frosting the Cake Tips
- Chill the Cake: Before frosting a cake or cupcakes, I place them in the refrigerator because it helps reduce loose crumbs getting into the Frosting.
- Turntable: A cake decorating turntable is helpful in rotating the cake while frosting.
- Utensils: There are different frosting utensils that can make life easier. I find having a spoon to transfer the frosting from the bowl to cake helpful, plus a flat spatula to spread and smooth out the frosting.
- First Layer: Start with placing the first cake layer on a plate with adding a generous scoop of Fluffy Peanut Butter Frosting. Using a spatula, spread the frosting across the cake top.
- Second Layer: Then add the second cake layer and repeat the same steps. Using a flat spatula scoop some of the frosting carefully applying to the cake sides working around the cake.
- Final Review: As a final step look for any areas that is missing frosting or require smoothing.
