Sour Cream Drop Cookies
Sour Cream Drop Cookies is a lovely Christmas cookie that my mother makes since my childhood. It was not my favorite cookie when I was younger. It seem more appropriate for adults in comparison to other fun kid cookies like Chocolate Drop Cookies with Chocolate frosting. Over the years, I have a new appreciation for this cookie with its soft, tender texture topped with cinnamon sugar. They pair perfectly with a cup of tea.

Sour Cream Drop Cookie Recipe
Sour Cream Drop Cookies are simple to make with few ingredients. The sour cream is a key ingredient adding moisture and richness. They are quick to make since refrigeration or frosting is not necessary. Just mix together a few ingredients, drop the dough on a cookie sheet and bake. Cool for a few minutes and enjoy a soft, light cookie with a generous topping of cinnamon sugar. Plus you get to enjoy the delicious aroma of cinnamon – no need to light a candle when baking these cookies!
A bonus with these light fluffy cookies are the low calories. They come in at about 70 calories per cookie! That means we can have a couple of them with our tea – it does not get much better than guilt-free cookies!!

Thanks! They are perfect with a hot beverage on a cold night. You described them perfectly! 💕 💕 💕
My grandma made these. ❤️Sometimes She also added lemon rind or orange rind and a splash of the juice as well. I just made her version at Christmas.
That sounds wonderful! Thanks for sharing her special touches! 💕
