Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Line cupcake pans with liners.
Bring all ingredients to room temperature for a fluffy baked good.

Sift the flour, cocoa powder, and baking soda removing any lumps.
In a stand up mixer, combine dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl
In a smaller bowl, add the melted butter, Guinness, and vanilla.
Whisk in the eggs one at a time and then the sour cream.
Mix the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until just mixed.
Fill each cupcake about a third full using an ice cream scoop or similar type scoop.
Bake in a 350 degrees preheated oven for 15 to 18 minutes. Do the toothpick test to ensure they are done. It should come out clean.
Leave the cupcakes in the pan for 10-minutes. Remove and cool completely on a cookie rack.
Frost with Baileys Frosting and decorate.
Store in an air-tight container once fully cool.
