1Stick Butterroom temperature
1 ¼cupSugar
1Egg
1tspVanilla
Dry Ingredients
1 ½cupFloursifted
½cupCocoa Powdersifted
¾tspSalt
Recommended Add-In Ingredients
¾cupShredded Coconut
½cupYour Favorite Nutschopped
1 ½Variety of Chocolate Chipssuch as: semi-sweet, dark, white
½cupM&Msselect colors suited to the occasion
Instructions
Oven Preparation
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
Line your baking pans with parchment paper.
Cookies Preparation
Using a mixer, cream the butter until smooth.
Blend the sugar into the butter.
Beat in the egg and vanilla.
Slowly add the dry ingredients blending until incorporated.
Mix in your choice of add-in ingredients
Place large scoops of dough onto the prepared baking pan. I used a ¼-measuring cup for large cookies.
Bake 11 - 13 minutes until cookies are set.
Let cool 5-minutes on the baking pan and then remove to a cookie rack to fully set.
